When you create a personal relationship with your business, it is like any relationship.
At times, you love it and spend as much time as possible with it. And other times you need space and wonder if you can do this any longer.
This love–hate feeling is pretty common for the entrepreneur.
As your business develops and grows, your relationship changes. Over time, you may change locations, add others to the team and restructure finances.
You might even change the product, service or distribution.
Unfortunately, all these changes can leave us frustrated, with more responsibilities and overbooked schedules.
But what keeps us going is that we love what we do. In a relationship, there is no stronger driving force than love.
Especially in your relationship with your own business. It has to be for the love of it.
Money and fame will only go so far and will often be forgotten. Doing it because you love it changes everything.
So, what form of relationship do you have with your business? How much do you love it?
No matter what type of love you're feeling for your business right now, it's important to focus on things that make you love it.
No excuses. Just focus and tell me a few things you love by doing this simple exercise. It will change your life.
Take a few moments every day to write down what you love doing in your business.
Continue to focus on those activities with gratitude while allowing yourself to do that activity more and more.
If you make this a daily activity until you doing 100 percent of ONLY what you love with your business, you will see amazing changes and growth.
Now, if you still have excuses and find you simply don't have time to do more of what you love, start removing those things you don’t love and delegate them right away to make room.
I mean now. Do it. Pick one small thing to delegate.
Someone is out there right now who would LOVE to do it for you.
I've seen thousands of business fail only because they got caught up doing things they hate, got exhausted and quit.
Remember, it is safe to let go and delegate things you don’t like. It is also safe to admit you can’t do everything and don’t have time to do it all.
Creating a loving relationship with your own business is an essential part of its growth and success.
Start focusing on things you love and write them down daily. Delegate those things you don’t love now.
Don’t forget to share with us below what you love. And what you’re looking to delegate. There may be someone reading this that would love to do it.
